The Old Presbytery Guest House Web site

The Presbytery prior to 1854 was called Scarthingwell lodge the original part of which was built in the shape of a cross of the same stone as York Minster (quarried 2 miles away) in very fine ashlare construction with external masons marks above the original entrance door giving indications to have been a Monks lodge Freemason or Templar house. The Old Presbytery Guest House is generally only suitable for adults. Our children's facilities include highchairs, games, cots and children’s menu.
