The hotel is over 600 year old and is set in delightful grounds (The gardens have won first prize in Taunton In Bloom three years running) only a mile from the centre of Taunton. The owners have opened up three original inglenook fireplaces and a complete working well over 30 feet deep which was uncovered in the kitchen. Children are welcome aged 5+ at Meryan House Hotel.
Disability access for wheel chairs is through the front door and we have a ground floor room twin room which can be used for disabled individuals and their families.
