The G&A as it is known locally is the largest building in the centre of the picturesque town of Melrose and is of a grand Victorian style although the original building is some 400 years old. The hotel has 29 guest bedrooms and also offers a public bar Scott’s Dining Room and three separate function and conference rooms. All guest rooms are en suite offering either a shower facility or bath and shower. Children very welcome at George & Abbotsford Hotel. For children we can offer highchairs, cots, children’s menu and baby listening/monitoring.
