Upper Ansdore Farmhouse dates from the XIVth century with later additions. The house once belonged to Sir William Cockaine a former Lord Mayor of London in 1619 and is mentioned in Hasted’s history of Kent. Situated in a Sylvan setting with far reaching views across the valley in a quiet area away from all the traffic. It overlooks a Kent trust nature reserve. You are assured of a warm welcome and a full English breakfast with our own free range eggs etc. Children aged 8+ are very welcome at Upper Ansdore.
