Welcome to Ellison Hall. Acquired by the Ellison family merchant adventurers of Newcastle Ellison Hall (also known as Hebburn Hall) is a 17th-century stately mansion. Robert Ellison Sheriff and Member of Parliament for Newcastle and his descendant Henry Ellison added their own personal twists to the manor to make it the grand building that stands today. With time the building fell out of use as a residence and has since been used as a church an infirmary and even a masonic temple. Children are very welcome at Ellison Hall. Our facilities for children include cots.
Two downstairs apartments and the Cottage are wheelchair accessible.
