The George III Hotel is set on the banks of the magnificent Mawddach Estuary six miles inland of Barmouth. An historic building this 1650 building was originally two dwellings - a ship chandlers serving the flourishing boat building industry and a pub. Nearby Barmouth is a popular holiday resort situated on the west coast of Wales at the mouth of the stunning Mawddach estuary.
