The Old Homestead at Byresteads offers bed and breakfast accommodation in the Lorton Valley near Cockermouth in Cumbria. The property consists of a stunning renovation of a traditonal Cumbrian long house and is full of character and Olde World charm but has been designed with comfort in mind. Our B&B has light and airy rooms with exposed beams complimented by Oak furniture and slate floors warmed by underfloor heating. Two of our ground-floor rooms have facilities for guests with mobility problems. Children are very welcome aged 10+ at The Old Homestead. Children's facilities include highchairs.
