Nanny Brow sits peacefully on its own crag amongst 5 acres of partly wooded grounds with long majestic views along the river Brathay to the hills behind Tarn Hows and the high fells with Wrynose pass climbing up and over to the West. A short walk through semi ancient woodland takes you to a lookout to watch the sail boats on Windermere and a further pull takes you to Lily Tarn and miles of superb walks over Loughrigg fell. Children are welcome aged 12+ at Nanny Brow.
