Nab Cottage is in the heart of the Lakes, alone overlooking Rydal Water and surrounded by mountains. The pace is gentle, the atmosphere informal and the space magical. The cottage, once owned by De Quincey, dates from 1565. Now there are 7 bedrooms, log fires, a piano, TV room, WIFI, gardens and friendly ghosts. The food is freshly made including homemade bread and organic produce. Wonderful base for walking. Massage, shiatsu and reiki are available. Grasmere and Ambleside are 2 miles in either direction.
