Fir Trees is our Windermere guest house of considerable character and charm, having been built in 1888 as a Victorian gentleman’s residence. The beautiful pitch pine staircase and doors, both original features of special note, are well complimented by antique furnishings. We are within easy walking distance of the two resort villages of Windermere and Bowness or the lake itself, yet close to many amenities by our being just outside the village centres themselves.
