The House was filmed for Channel 4’s ‘Grand Designs’ and aired in the latest series 7 when Robert and Milla found a plot overlooking Lake Windermere in the Lake District National Park and built a house with a domed grass-covered roof. As part of the sustainable design an enormous spine wall runs through the centre of the house built from stone dug out of the ground on-site. Dome House is exclusively for adults and infants. Children's facilities include games.
