1 Welch Gate, Bewdley, Worcestershire DY12 2AT - England, UK
|
Formerly named the ‘Pack Horse Inn & Old Posting House’ in the 1600’s the Welch Gate has stood the test of time throughout Bewdley’s history. Bewdley was built as a stop-over town back in the 1600’s due to being the main waterway via the river Severn to Birmingham & many other towns & cities. Since then prospectors & such have increased the size of the town & its population to what it is today (12 000+) whilst maintaining its local charm. Please note, The Welch Guest House is exclusively for adults.
No facilities are available for guests with mobility issues and the accomodation is on the first floor.
