The Greyhound Hotel forms the principal building of Cromford Market Place. A three-storey building constructed in sandstone with a Roman Doric doorcase and raised quoins it has made a substantial contribution to the history of the local area. The Greyhound provided lodging for visitors to Cromford and was used as the location for festivities organised by Sir Richard Arkwright for his workforce. The Greyhound Hotel welcomes families. Our facilities for children include highchairs, cots and children’s menu.
