You will be assured of a warm and friendly welcome at this 17th century beamed cottage which offers delightful accommodation and is situated just a few minutes walk from Stow Square. Built in 1640 it was originally an Ale House called The Cross Keys where the beer was brewed in the cellar. In 1660 a second cottage was built behind the original dwelling and quite recently a further extension was added giving Cross Keys deceptively comfortable and spacious accommodation. Children are very welcome aged 10+ at Cross Keys Cottage.
